rejection of new accounts

There is buzz in the internet that Adsense is rejecting the new accounts. Well the reasons are very simple and clear. I have given some of the main reasons why Adsense is not approving new accounts. And the reasons I have given here are nothing but the Google’s guidelines itself and my opinions included with it.

Reasons for rejection:
1. You should be 18years or above to apply for adsense.
2. The first qualification for Adsense is that your Website/blog should be atleast 6 months old.
3. Websites with very less content is rejected even though they are 6 months old. That is if the website/blog seems to be under construction your site will be rejected. As a minimum of 15 pages or posts is a must. But I recommend you to make atleast 30+ pages or posts.
4. The website must be active; I didn’t mean the site should be accessible. You have to have some updated news.
5. Even the sites with the required number of pages and active are getting rejected. The reason for this that Google needs unique content, not a copied content from anywhere else in the internet
6. Google does not ask for any minimum number of traffic to any site as eligibility. But if you have atleast a few regular visits to your pages. Google will be pleased to see that.
7. Never go for Black hat SEO techniques to promote your site or try to get high traffic through these techniques. You may not only get rejected, you have the chance of getting banned from Google indexing service.
8. There is no need to have a owned domain for Applying for adsense, but you need the access to the HTML source code to place the adsense codes into your pages. Otherwise your site will be rejected. You can use the Google’s blogger for a free blog space.
9. You should have a valid address, PIN number, phone number for the verification process.
